Stacy has extensive writing, proofreading and editing experience in a number of industries. She stumbled into journalism from a linguistic and layout perspective, and eventually worked as Production Editor for Oil Price Information Service covering spot and futures trading for various petroleum products as well as designing and producing all of the daily, weekly and ancillary publications.

In 2005, Stacy moved into Pharma and started as a proofreader with Bristol-Myers Squibb. Her duties there expanded to include medical editing and copy writing in addition to content review and proofreading. In 2009, she was promoted to Associate Manager of Content Development and added an array of management and scheduling duties to the job description. During her tenure at BMS, Stacy was twice recognized for outstanding achievement and received a Distinction Award for internal client for process innovation that resulted in a $400K savings to the brand.

As editor and co-founder at The Write Room, LLC, Stacy is able to utilize many of her skills and talents. She feels her forte is conceptualizing her client’s ideas and working diligently to bring them to fruition. She loves to focus on one project, polishing and tweaking until she has it nailed.
